Sonja Shin has more than two decades of experience producing TV news, marketing videos and computer-animated exhibits for NASA. She studied science communication at Northwestern University and University of California, Santa Cruz.

• Produced conventions commercial, Irish dance convention bid marketing video, St. Louis Civic Pride Foundation video about a non-profit working with people in Ferguson, Gems of St. Louis demo videos for the Explore St. Louis Marketing Director.

• Produced and hosted recorded and Facebook Live marketing videos for early stage healthcare startup Pacient, which was founded by a managing partner of Polsinelli.

• Produced and voiced about 30 videos of talks for Center for Emerging Technology Square One entrepreneur training program.

• Narrated and collaborated on the award-winning production of EdgarVille, a computer-animated interactive exhibit about the national aerospace system, which was developed by NASA and the FAA and appeared at The Smithsonian (won Telly, Remy [Houston International Film Festival], Aegis and Axiem Awards).

• Narrated and collaborated on the award-winning production of Journey to the Planets, a computer-animated exhibit featured at the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose (won Telly, OMNI, Silicon Valley International JOEY and Axiem Awards).

• Produced several arts, science and tech reports for Higher Education Channel (HEC-TV), including reports on zoo matchmaking technology and 3D mapping of the human brain.

• Produced and presented SGI-supercomputer-animated virtual tours of Mars at NASA Ames Research Center.

• Produced and reported health, science and tech news at KIRO-TV (CBS) in Seattle and KPLR-TV in St. Louis.

• Produced and reported tech and general news at NBC Bay Area and KPIX-TV (CBS) in San Francisco.

• Researched and produced for NBC Nightly News and The Today Show in NYC.
